History Log

For all significant actions involving Data Manager, File Manager, and Content Manager objects, EfficiencySpring creates a history log entry cataloging the changes.

For Data Manager, entries are created when records are added, edited, or deleted. For adds and edits, a summary of the field changes is contained in the "Comments" field. If XML Snapshots is enabled for the Data Manager section, then a full XML snapshot of the record will also be available.

For Content Manager, entries are created when pages are added, edited, deleted, approved, and rolled back. A copy of the content is contained within the "Comments" field of the log entry.

For File Manager, entries are created when files are uploaded, downloaded, renamed, moved, copied, checked in, or checked out. The file's path, name, size, and content are also stored with every log entry.

All history log entries are stored in the Obj_History table.
